About Strathpine Library

Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Strathpine Library is conveniently located close to the Pine Rivers District administrative centre and Strathpine train station.

Strathpine Library provides computer access for public use, including word processing and internet access. If you’re looking to improve your computing skills, free technology training is provided, including internet and email.

The library is fully automated and provides the option of self-service convenience while maintaining a personal touch.

Our young adult lounge area provides a comfortable place for after school research, catching up on the latest magazines or just hanging out with mates. Strathpine Library is the perfect place to bring your children for educational material or fun. Don’t miss our weekly story time featuring stories, rhymes, songs and fingerplays, held conveniently on Thursday mornings and Tuesday evenings.

The past can reveal lots of interesting things and there is opportunity to learn more about your own family history or local history through the local history and genealogy resources available. The Strathpine Library is home to a large range of local history materials.

Our monthly community bus service picks up local elderly residents and transports these visitors to and from the library. Our homebound service delivers a range of library materials to those unable to leave their homes.
